Holiday Favourites!

Bonjour!

Just a few products/randoms from my holiday! Some I consider to be essential, some indulgent and some just unavoidable!

Summer nails ...

17 Lasting Fix Nail Polishes, lovely juicy summer colours! Orange Soda on fingers, Pink Grapefruit on toes. I hate photos of my toes so this is as close as I could get!

A few bodycare products ...

Several Liz Earle products which seem to always come on holiday with us! These are all holiday skin saviours in my book!

Liz Earle Mineral Sun Cream SPF 20 -  I've used this for a few years now and always try to take a tube away with me. Good SPF and really helps if the dreaded prickly heat sets in. It reflects rather than absorbs UVB and UVA rays. My son had sun-sensitive skin up until a couple of years ago and used this with no problems at all.

Liz Earle Sun Shade Botanical Aftersun Gel - fantastic refreshing aftersun gel, cools and soothes, contains aloe vera, lavender and cucumber.  This is last years tube, it seems to last for ages so I finished it off this year and will definitely be repurchasing if we are lucky enough to have another 'hot holiday' next year! I also used this after several IPL sessions and it was perfect at calming skin down.

Liz Earle Orange Flower Body Wash - another holiday staple, although I can't afford to  use the full size all year round, I usually take a travel size on holiday as it's gentle, soothing and moisturising. My full review of this lovely product is here.

Liz Earle Energising Body Scrub - you guessed it, another holiday must have in my book, one of the best exfoliators around in my opinion. Gentle yet effective at prepping and maintaining exfoliation, also smells lovely and uplifting!

Boots Expert Dry Skin Concentrated Hand and Nail Cream - fragrance free and hypoallergenic, really soothing and moisturising, especially if your hands are a bit parched or sore from the sun.

A few randoms ...!

My lovely sun lounger - sob!

Rose Pamplemousse (Grapefruit) and Ginger Rose! - I'm not a big drinker but these were perfect on a warm evening, both very refreshing and almost like pop!  Especially liked the Ginger Rose which was pretty spicy!

Fergal the Shark - retiring for the evening.

Cute little lizard ...

...erm not so cute millipede which found it's way into our villa, they move like lightning!  Won't miss that!

What are your holiday favourites?

  1. Ahhh that water just looks soooo inviting . I wish I could have raved about my holiday instead of moaning about camping! I love that Orange Soda colour - must pick that up next time I'm in town. X
